What we handle, and what we do not

We are a ground operator, not a travel agency. We hold the contracts with the hotels, the transport companies and the production crews in this city, and we run the programme on the day with our own coordinators.

What we do not do is book your flights, act as your corporate travel agent, or subcontract the operation to a company you never meet. If we cannot run something ourselves we say who will and why.

Programme management

Coordinators on the ground

One guide per 28 delegates, one coordinator per 50, a supervisor from 100, and a medic travelling with groups from 100.

Why groups choose Da Nang over the island destinations

Three reasons come up in almost every brief, and all three are structural rather than promotional.

  • Three destinations inside one radius. My Khe beach, Hoi An old town and Ba Na Hills are all within an hour's drive. A three-day programme can use all three, which is not possible on an island where the programme is confined to the resort strip and a boat.
  • Depth of supply. Beachfront resorts, riverside city hotels and Hoi An properties compete for the same group, which is what keeps rates and terms negotiable. A destination with four viable properties for your headcount does not.
  • Cost. At the same accommodation grade, Da Nang runs roughly 15-20% below Phu Quoc, because nothing has to be flown or shipped to an island.
The honest counterweight

Da Nang has no visa exemption. International delegates need the standard Vietnamese entry route, which for a multinational group is a real workstream that Phu Quoc removes entirely. And June and July are genuinely difficult here: domestic peak and city events compete for the same hotels. If your group is multinational and your dates are fixed in midsummer, we would tell you to look at the island.

You are comparing destinations

Start with the Da Nang MICE guide: what the city can and cannot do, seasons, costs, and how it compares with the alternatives.

Building a budget

You need numbers to take internally

Indicative rates by group size and standard package structures, with what is and is not included spelled out.

Group size decides almost everything

More than season, more than budget, more than accommodation grade. Headcount determines which hotels can host you at all, how many vehicles run, whether the gala goes on the beach or in a ballroom, and how far ahead you need to commit.

Group sizeWhat changesLead timeDetail
20 - 50 guestsVery wide choice of property. One vehicle up to 45. Highly flexible.45 days20-50 guest programmes
50 - 100 guestsSecond vehicle from 46. Buffet service viable. Gala becomes its own line item.60 days50-100 guest programmes
100 - 200 guestsOnly 4 and 5-star properties hold rooms and hall together. Arrivals split across flights.90 days100-200 guest programmes
200 guests or moreSite survey first. May need two adjacent properties.120 days+Quoted per project

Da Nang holds up better than most Vietnamese destinations at the top of that range, because the beachfront resorts on the My Khe and Non Nuoc strip carry 180 to 350 rooms with 500 to 900 m² of function space. What narrows is not capacity but availability on your exact dates.

How a programme is put together

  1. You send a brief. Four fields is enough to start: destination, group size band, month and duration, and a work email.
  2. We reply within eight working hours with initial feasibility, and with any constraint you should know about before going further.
  3. Detailed quote within three working days, with named properties, a day-by-day programme and a rate breakdown by group size.
  4. Seven-day soft hold, free of charge, on the room block and function space while you get internal approval.
  5. Deposit converts the hold to a confirmation. Calculated on a guaranteed minimum headcount, with a 5-10% shortfall carrying no penalty.
  6. Rooming list locks at 14 days out, before the final payment falls due, so nothing has to be recalculated afterwards.

Four fields and we can tell you if it works

Destination, group size band, month and duration, work email. Feasibility comes back within eight working hours.

Common questions

Questions travellers ask most

What is the smallest group you will take?

Twenty. Below that, the fixed elements of a MICE structure — coordinators, AV, stage, a dedicated vehicle — cost the same as they would for sixty people, and you are paying corporate prices for something simpler.

Do you cover Hoi An as well as Da Nang?

Yes, and most programmes use both. Hoi An is about forty-five minutes from the beach strip. Groups can be based in Da Nang and spend an evening in Hoi An, or based in Hoi An if the programme is experience-led rather than conference-led.

Are your rates inclusive of VAT?

Yes. All published rates include Vietnamese VAT and a full tax invoice is issued. Air tickets are excluded and quoted separately.

Do you handle the city's MICE support application?

Yes. Da Nang runs a MICE promotion programme through 2026 with support measures for qualifying groups. We prepare and file the application on your behalf, which operators based outside the city routinely skip.
