Operated in Da Nang by people who hold the contracts here
MICE Da Nang is operated by Alotour, the exclusive operating partner of MICEVIET for the city. The hotel agreements, the transport contracts and the production crews on the beach road are ours; the coordinators who meet your first flight are on our payroll. The standards on this site are audited by MICEVIET rather than declared by us.

Two names, one responsibility
MICEVIET owns the micedanang.com domain and the service standards; Alotour is the company that operates in Da Nang under them. For a client the arrangement means the promises here — reply times, staffing ratios, held weather fallbacks, the post-event file — are checked from outside our own office, and the person quoting your programme is the person who will be standing in the hotel lobby when it starts.
| Standard | What we staff |
|---|---|
| Guides | One for every 28 guests |
| On-site coordinators | One for every 50 guests |
| Programme supervisor | Named at contract from 100 guests |
| Medic with the group | From 100 guests |
| Standby vehicle | From 100 guests |
| Hospitality desk | From the first arrival to the last departure |
Briefs we turn down, and why
Knowing the shape of an operator saves both sides time. Ours leaves some things out.
- Fewer than twenty people. The fixed cost of a MICE structure does not spread that thin; a good travel agent will do it better and cheaper.
- Air tickets. We hold group seats through airline group desks, but ticketing stays with you or your agent.
- Visa advice beyond the documents. Vietnamese entry rules apply as elsewhere in the country; we supply invitation letters and verified information, and for unusual passports we tell you to take proper advice.
- Fixed July dates above 120 people. The ballroom shortlist is short and the rates are the year's highest; if the dates can move we will push you to move them.
- Speculative quotes. A detailed proposal is two days of somebody's work, which is why a refundable card authorisation comes first.
After the last coach leaves
Corporate programmes are judged inside the client's company weeks after they end, by people who were not there. A programme that ran perfectly and left no paper trail fails that review.
| Deliverable | When | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| Photographs and video | 3 working days | Internal communication and next year's case |
| Attendance list | 3 working days | Reconciling who travelled against who was invoiced |
| Itemised final account | 3 working days | Line-by-line check against the quote |
| Vietnamese VAT invoice | With the account | Tax and accounting |
| CSR report | 3 working days, where applicable | Sustainability reporting |
| City support paperwork | As required | Groups that applied under the Da Nang MICE programme |
| Written debrief | On request | What to change next year |
Ask for the debrief. We record what went wrong as well as what went right, because a programme that repeats annually only improves if the friction is written down while it is fresh.
Why there are no testimonials here
Corporate clients rarely want their programme described in public, and a quote you cannot check tells a planner nothing. At proposal stage, with their permission, we connect you to a past client of similar size and sector so you can ask them anything directly.
Send a brief and judge the reply
Feasibility within eight working hours; a detailed quote within three working days; or a straight answer that Da Nang is the wrong city for you.
Questions travellers ask most
Who is on the ground during the programme?
Alotour's own coordinators, guides and supervisor. Production, transport and activity partners are Da Nang companies we contract repeatedly and supervise directly, never a subcontracting agency.
What does MICEVIET supervision change in practice?
The standards are audited from outside: staffing ratios, reply times, held fallbacks and the post-event file. A missed standard is visible beyond our own company.
Do you work through agencies?
Yes, openly. What we decline is to sit behind an agency that presents our operation as its own without telling the client, because then nobody owns the day.
